And how can you maximize the benefits of internal linking ? Here are 10 tips.   Tip No: 1 Use your preferred keyword on links rather than a "click here" or "check this out" link. Tip No: 2 Use text links combined with image links to emphasize your keyword significance. Tip No: 3 Use Nofollow tags selectively on pages to filter out un-important pages from being crawled. Tip No:4 While using links, use title tags to leverage on the keyword importance. Tip No:5 If you're clear on the keyword intended for a particular page, check if your anchor text (on the link), page title (of the page), keyword significance on the linked page are all matching well.
